So glad I renenbered to write this rewiew. Drinks were good and service was alright but Rory Jackson was AMAZING! OMG HE IS THE BEST MICHAEL JACKSON EVER!!! WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK AND GET THERE EARLY IF HE PLAYS AGAIN. SHINE ON!!!!

Dear Team!!! I wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation for the fantastic dinner I enjoyed with my family at your restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. Went to Newroz last night to see Rory Jackson, probably the best Michael Jackson tribute act to ever exist. He's studied him so well, he probably does MJ better than MJ did MJ . The service was good, but my thirst could have been quenched a little quicker. I could see the staff were so captivated by Rory that they didn't notice my flailing hands, but its forgiveable as the waiter was very nice looking and reminded me of the internet sensation John C Live. If they book Rory again, I'll be the first to buy a ticket

Absolutely fantastic food! The best ribs I've had at any restaurant. Both meals was really fresh, well seasoned and tasty! We could not stop talking about how much we enjoyed the food. Totally recommend if you're in the area. The waitress was also very lovely!! Deserve the 5 stars

Welcoming & friendly staff. The grill was well seasoned, fresh and tasty. Starter and mains came out just in time. bread was soft and fluffy, drinks very flavorful. Overall a fantastic visit, reasonably priced & will visit again.

The reason I am giving 4* for atmosphere is because I hadn't visited in years and I visited recently for a staff evening since it was taken over again, but as it has special events on I would have to visit on another night to give a clear marking of the extra star. As soon as I walked through the doors I was warmly welcomed with a smile as I approached the bar and ordered a Cocktail of choice which was very enjoyable and caught sight of the fresh food being cooked through the open kitchen area, I went to this evening with my daughter where we took our seat, we were given a starter of the fresh food and this was topped up when run low, the waiter and waitress were very polite. This later was cleared away for the main dish to arrive at the table. Taking a look at the menu firstly to check out another Cocktail of choice as it was a long time since having an evening out did notice that the prices were quite high for my normal purse but from the food that was delivered to the table I think could reflect the price listed what you would pay out. The staff were lovely and accommodating and I would certainly visit again for another meal in the future. My only gripe would be that the table should have been one long table rather than top table with 2 long tables either side, missed time talking to my other work family members on that evening.

I first went to Newroz a year ago and since have been many many times. It is hands down the best quality fresh food in Clacton. The restaurant has THE most wonderful staff and manager/ owner.whenever you go, there is a warm welcome, big smiles, great atmosphere and most importantly, quality food every time. Absolute favourite place in Clacton.
